Baptism in water

Matthew 28:19 (NLT)
¹⁹Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Romans 6:4 (NLT)
⁴For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

 

The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper

This sacrament is the breaking and partaking of bread and the drinking of wine as emblems of the broken body and the shed blood of Jesus, by true believers.

 

The language is symbolic not literal when Jesus said, “this is my body”.  We do not believe that the bread actually becomes the body or the wine the blood of Jesus.
